About us
Built by athletes who know the finish line is the whole point.
FinishLine Live was started around a simple frustration: races matter, but accurate timing
can feel expensive, technical, and out of reach for the events that hold communities together.
Alex Pollock
Alex is a former collegiate swimmer turned triathlete, which means he has spent plenty of
time learning that seconds matter and race-day details have a way of becoming very loud.
He brings the systems brain: RFID hardware, race-day operations, result workflows, and the
calm insistence that timing should be accurate without making everyone panic.
Ashton Holland
Ashton is an ultra marathon runner, the kind of person who hears “long run” and somehow
treats it like a normal Tuesday. He brings endurance, grit, and the runner’s-eye view of
what a race should feel like: clear, fair, organized, and worth remembering.
